there is this player who is a cook. Had a little over 400 points and joined a lot of my games.

He was losing pretty badly. but you can see he trys really hard. I sent a copy of the new player stratigy I wrote. He wrote back and said he was sorry for ruining my games . I told him he was Not ruining my games I just wanted to help him.

I congratulated him and also saw he is in the 600's now. he wrote me back and said he was using the text i wrote. He will be good.

he took out 3 that game

That is why i dislike negative feedback he has plenty but this is not an easy game to learn for new players. All they need is help.

I agree 100% Wac and you are a gentleman about it as ever.

I have seen one or two characters who really don't try to get it of course; even getting a little bolshy.. 'who's this eegit to give me advice, i've been playing risk since i was 3!'.

I suppose how the advice is 'offered' colours whether a person takes it or not.

wacicha, you my friend are one of those people I wish I could clone and fill the world with. Hands down. You took the time to better someone else, and in return you ended up bettering' yourself.

edit: i checked my games and i have a game with that guy...clearly not much chatting went on ...YaY!!!

i joined quite a few of wacicha`s games and TONYKE was in a few. he missed a couple of goes, but in one of the games(he is not in), there has been 11 miss goes, 2 of them have deadbeated. for some people there is no help. you can try and good luck if you succeed, because it will benefit all of us that use the public games and the escalating, classic games that wacicha sets up.
