Do you actually use this ?

I used it a couple of times when it first came out but it quickly became pointless to me.

Your views ?

occasionally when I want to remind myself that a certain player has a certain tatic or such.

I've never used it before, I talk to myself enough as it is in real life without making it worse by talking to myself on an online game

Ive never used it, but when i get premium, i might need it to keep track of all my games

I've used it a few times. Like in DiM's Objective Tournament, I left a note to self in the game chat so I wouldn't forget my objective.
And whenever I duel wicked and she wins, I talk nice in the regular chat but I'm worse than a sailor in note to self chat.

Plus, if you ever need an account sitter you can leave notes in your games so he doesn't switch strategies in the middle.

I use it all the time in long complex games..... but i have forgotten to tick the box and given away my strategy on occasion! Trying to cover that was interesting.

I use it quite often because I'm one of those freemiums that sits and stares at a map waiting for a new winning move to become obvious even when it's not my turn. I then jot down all my tactics for the next turn in case I forget them by the time it's my turn again.

And no I don't use it.

I frequently use it as well.....but I agree that it can be both embarrassing, and hilarious trying to repair the damage forgetting to tick the box can do.....I've turned from a methodical and calculating ninja type attack to a roaring drunk bear charging at noises type attack........ and never with good results.

Never. I suppose I might if I were premium and had more games though...

i use it all the time -- as a reminder to skip a turn , make a block , deploy on a certain country, or whatever. it helps when you have alot of games going-- and its a nice reminder so you don't forget an important turn.
