Conquer Club

With the new 2 player games neutrals bring a whole new strategy into the game. I have recently come into some problems. When you are defending a series of continents such as I have here:

As you can see I own 4 continents. I have several borers and have balenced all my troops on each borer. There are some borders that green has more troops on than others. There are others that have neutrals in front of them. My question is should I keep them balenced or should I put more on the ones that he has more on and less on the others? What do you normally do? I actually balence them during fast paced games but not during more slow pace games. Thoughts?

depends on how many armies he will get next turn - if he has a set i would lay 2s on a couple of contis and just try and hold one or two contis for the bonuses.

I defend based on the enemies placement as well as the nuetrals. Where there are nuetrals between you and him I would maybe have a few less to defend with because he may feel more obliged to attack you straight up. In a territory that has two borders such as Thorn I would have the most men. Mostly because for one he will have two sides to attack from even if there is a nuetral in the way he will probably be more tempted to attack there because it has more places to attack from. Well...thats my advice.

Exactly what I would do too. Also, I would just count the neutral armies as my armies in terms of defence and balance it out that way
