I just received a PM to say a game I was involved in has been deleted. Obviously the game finder provides no results, so how am I supposed to know which it was?

It will proberly be a game you have had in waiting games that was not filled and timed out. Or could be a tourney game that was set up wrong. Or a campain that the op didnt have the credits lol.

There is also a point dumping case just now were you in a game with him

it wasnt an old game, those don't time out, at least not yet.

Could have been tourney, I do know TD's are pretty diligent about deleting those games.

Speaking of, would either of you two want to join one of those waiting games? I have a few that need 1 or 2 more players.

There is no way after the fact to know, I know its been suggested before to give more details but I dont remember what came of it / if it was possible. But yeah, there was just a very recent game throwing incident. Maybe thats part of it...

iAmCaffeine, it was a tournament game made by Silly Knig-it that he wanted to redo. You were the only one in that game.

I have not done tourneys for a while but do remember, Deleteing games before. Do they send automated pms for that now,it used to be that you would just delete it remake it and send a quick pm to the players who had joined. Has this option been taken away.

An organiser can cancel a game easily enough just by dropping it, the same way anyone can if they create a game. This was actual deletion of a game.

Thats what i am saying caffine. If you were the only person in game like king a said, it had not started so could of been dropped not deleted. So is this a new change not picked up on yet.

One of the bugs when the new Game Finder was released was that games could not be dropped. See: https://www.conquerclub.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=214136&start=50#p4710684

That has been fixed, but meanwhile there were some unwanted games that had to be admin-deleted.

Ah ok that explains it better thankyou duk. Thought it was weird how a waiting game was deleted lol.
