Suspend Premium Account? [Answered]

Can you have your account frozen? I am getting deployed to Iraq in a couple of weeks. I just signed up for a premium account and am afraid I will not be able to take any turns while I am away. If not that is cool I have had a great time here and will definitely buy another premium membership if i come home.

Thanks for your time.

I don't think you have to do anything in particular with your account while you are deployed. Assuming you will not be able to take your turns during your deployment, I would not start any new games and let my current games finish. Your account will remain active while you are away, although you may drop off the scoreboard due to inactivity. When you return you should be able to start or join new games without doing anything special. When you complete your first game upon return you should reappear in the scoreboard.

If CC has a policy of suspending a premium account I'm not aware of it. Maybe a player with experience in doing this or a mod will answer this question definitively.

As for your five active games, you will probably finish most of them before you deploy. For the onces that you don't, simply announcing what happened in game chat will suffice. Your fellow players will understand, and if they don't they're really not worth your concern.

Finally, I admire what you're doing and I thank you for your service.

Thanks Tahitiwahini, I figured that is what I would do. My only downer is that my premium will expire while I am away. Oh well. What can you do right? I will remain here on the forums as much as my time allows. But obviously I wont be able to play any games. Thanks again guys. I appreciate it.
