That is what is known as a snapshot. It basically records what the board looked like from yours or your team-mates' point of view on a previous turn.
There's two ways you can read those:
1. You can go to Settings in your Personal Menu, and make sure Panel mode is turned on.
2. You can download and add-on called BOB that you can find in the add-ons forum. (For BOB to work, you will need either Firefox with Greasemonkey installed, or Chrome with Tampermonkey installed. If you don't have one of those, just stick with method one.)
