Mobile Device Friendly

I was told many months ago that the changes in format and which add ons worked, etc. were to further the goal of making things more friendly to mobile devices.

My question is when is this going to happen??

Shortly after BigWham took over things were modified and great wonderful day, I had most of the Bob functions on my tablet (iPad). Then the major changes took place about 6 months ago with the advent of the Panel Interface and all those mobile gains went away.

1. No hovering to find out what a tert connects to. (Really big pain in the butt.)
2. Snap shots so hard to use as to be not there. (Unless you have a really good visual memory, screen to screen)
3. No indication on map of where spoils will play. (I must hunt down the terts)
4. Obnoxious little pop-up's that try to force me into a mode (landscape) that I don't always want to be in. (By now, several hundred pop-up's telling me, I know what things were optimized for.)
5. Loss of Zip codes as an SoC instructor

And other things that by now I have just become inured to.

From my understanding, there are mobile interface improvements in the making, but not necessarily ones that fix these issues. While it would be great to be able to access these features on a mobile device, there is an issue with overloading on functions, making mobile interface cluttered/unusable.

This is what I know, there may be more or less to it.

fyi, that was sarcasm. since the upgrades, i only use my ipad to read the forums and to see what is up on my turns/maps. taking turn is impossible, and i have been restricted to my laptop and desktop computers... the OP is 8k% correct...-Jésus noir

I I understand. Your first post, if I may borrow from politicians was not intended to be a factual statement.

That would indeed be correct.

As for the topic at hand, my mobile device has the ability to call and text someone and that's pretty much it. My laptop doesn't have any of the issues you describe, but I guess that won't help you a bit.

Good luck in your search for better CC-use, I honestly have no clue what bW is working on right now, but he's usually working on something.
