The answer is NOT "no way, who needs another crazy bitch". The answer is no way, because she actively tried to DESTROY this site. You've been here long enough TeeGee, you should know the story. She didn't just create multis, she actively participated in attempts to erase this site from the internet by way of getting Hasboro involved. She tried to pass on information to other trouble makers on how to create multiple accounts without getting caught. Her actions are partly why the Classic map was removed/changed, partly why there is a blurb saying "CC is not associated with RISK", and so on. You can't ignore history, or certain ugly details.

I refuse to cast a vote in the sexist poll above. However, I shall always continue to loudly oppose lifting Wicked's ban.

Bollocks.

OK, let me put this on the record. I haven't actually offered an opinion here and I am NOT trying to get her ban lifted. I just wanted to know what the opinion of the general community was.

she literally tried to burn the site down and have it erased... she waged a war on CC and those that were here will never accept her back... she was manipulative and even had the admins convinced that it was the BpB that were involved with the multi creations, etc... we warned Twill that she was a nut case and was going to try and take the site down when she finally snapped... boom... it happened... she should never be allowed back on this site...-Jésus noir

p.s.-if the black jesus won't forgive you, who will?

The Thread title made me think you posted Defying Gravity in the wrong place TeeGee.

Why must you confuse Poor Old TFO?

I do agree though, she can stay in whatever loony bin she is currently in.

"No good deed goes unpunished..."

but...

I love that show XD

On a serious note. I wasn't here during Wicked's rain of terror, but I heard a lot about her. CC have let way too many wackos be moderators. lol

Can we get the highlights of the whole story?
I ve just heard throughout the years what was said here...
Was she a paid mod by lack in the first place? Or just a volunteer? Why did she snap?

I'm sure Owen could tell you the whole story (as would at least a dozen others), but I'm afraid the Wicked Times are meant to be locked up in the collective minds of the old school, because a horror story never feels real, unless you experienced it. Wicked was CC-horror in its finest form. Only InsomniaRed beat her.

She snapped when Owenshooter with held his tiny white penis. Then when you found that Insom red had better pictures on the same adult dating site, well shit just went sideways from there. Site owners/admins were ineffectual to put it mildly. This was the era of punish them for what they say, not what they do. An era which we still feel to this day, with official CC people cheating to the top of the score board without sanction. Let someone like Owenshooter, jefjef, serbia, yourself(betsypoo) or myself say something and by golly we are punished. I pointed out that how ever inadvertently it had happened, blakebowling had raped some of the code........ Wasn't I the worst person in the world. English is not understood that well on site..... The fact that rape has multiple meanings still didn't count. No, BB got his e feelings hurt, thinking I was saying he was literally having forced sexual intercourse with code.......... Uncle Bogan had to spend time in the naughty corner.
Fun and games.
Hugs and kisses Uncle Bogan

what are you talking about? Insomnia faked her death and everyone excluding myself and jbrettlip believed her and i was just EVIL for doubting her bogus story... IR went out by giving a few bans here and there and breaking nag's heart... she was just run of the mill crazy... Wicked tried to DESTROY the site... period... nobody has ever come close to the levels of insanity and vindictiveness that woman hit in her personal battle against CC... there is absolutely no way that you can compare IR and Wicked... none...-Jésus noir™

Yeah, but on the other hand, it's only a gaming site. Wicked chose to pick a battle against a website where people can play a version of RISK, which could hurt a lot of people. But "hurt" is not the good word for it, because the worst thing that could happen, is that CC would cease to exist. How much would that hurt you?
IR chose to hurt people on a far more personal level. Nagerous is of course an obvious example, but there has been more stuff like that, you know that. I find that more offensive.

Wasn't membership on the rise during all of this? If so, bring back the barbarism!

(A) (probability that wicked succeeds in destroying CC) * (SUM of everyone's utility derived from playing on CC)

v.

(B) IR being a real big bitch to a few people, who feel varying degrees of butthurt (disutility).

HMMMMM...... LEMME SEE HERE.......

It's a tough call. The intentions of (A) are worse than (B) though. Determining the probability of (A) is rough... maybe 5%? People play this game and/or talk in the fora on a daily basis, so we're talking about some big chunk of utility over 10-15 years.

Hmm, now (A) seems much bigger than (B).

But still arguments about who is more butthurt than who are pretty stupid.

This is what you still don't understand. Plenty of people saw her story and doubted it. I'd think, given how implausible the details were, quite likely the majority saw through it. Still, if one tells a story of horrible suffering, if there is even one chance in a million that it might be true, the courteous thing is to acknowledge it without judgment. If it turns out to be false, one has lost nothing, but if the one-in-a-million comes up and it turns out to be true, then one would feel like a true heel to not have respected it.

A gentleman does not challenge the myths that others build to protect their fragile self-esteems. If someone comes to me and says they are the reincarnation of Mahatma Ghandi, I say, "that's fascinating" with a very solemn look on my face. You don't do the mentally fragile any favours by tearing away the bandages that bind their wounded psyches together.

You weren't "evil" for doubting her story, you were just exceedingly ungentlemanly to say so in public.

ok i wasn't really around during those stories but....
regarding insomnia red; from what i understand she had some sort of illness and had to go to the hospital. maybe it was not that much of a situation and she was a drama queen and genuinely thought she could die because of it. She was most likely worried to go to the hospital withought knowing how it would go, and acted like a drama queen in forums to be an attention whore and have people telling her "how much they cared about her". I don't even understand how this became a huge story (even though I might be saying stupid stuff as I'm talking about something I know barely nothing...)
if wicked tried to bring down the site for vengeance (is the dating site thing a true story and the real reason?) well it's definitely way worse.

LOL, she was a nut Betiko. I've seen their type on forums myself. Every site has them. She faked her own death because she wanted people to feel sorry for her and mourn her. In her frame of mind, any attention is good attention.

I actually had to deal with one quite similar to Wicked on another forum site who said she was a mod on another forum, said I was the reason she signed up because she liked my posts, said she was dying of cancer, created a boyfriend account for herself, and tried to take the site down. I think it's just a big co-incidence, but there are many many crazies out there. The internet is just an outlet for them because no one would listen to their bullshit in real life. Actually, they'd probably be calling the men in white coats.

no, no, no... she made the entire thing up, she never went in for anything... the best part was, how her doctors let her keep posting on a gaming site while in the grips of an almost certain death... she didn't blow something out of proportion, she made the entire thing up. period. she was/is fucking crazy and 2 of us stood up to her BS and became even bigger pariahs than we already were... sorry, Mr. betiko, there is no excuse for what she did... no explanation...

and back to wicked... trying to take down CC with her minions and bringing HASBRO to the table, was also unforgivable... she will never have a place at the Last CC Super with the black jeus... the black jesus has spoken...-Jésus noir

Insomnia Red also has some, uhh, interesting photos in dark corners of the internet. I found those one night when I went down a Google wormhole. I also found evidence that she tried to pull something similar (ie., fake death, drama queen, etc.) at a different site while down that wormhole. Sounds like a personal problem.

Anyway, I defer to Owen on all site history. I was here for some of it, but was too new and had no idea what was going on.

That girl was psychologically fucked in the end, I saw her take a shit ton of pills on a webcam and pass out so I had to call up 911, something I have only had to do once. I saw the ambulance guys on the cam appear before it cut out and she was then absent for an few days. She then went on about when she came back about how she was in love with me and was suicidal so I pretended to be the doting boyfriend whilst listening to her problems because if I didn't she would kill herself. Not a nice situation to be in but I managed to escape unscathed so please stop this revisionist nonsense that I was somehow hurt in this encounter.
