Using c^nt in it's proper context (F**king C*nt) is preferred.

Everybody knows speaking profanity is a sign of intelligence. You should use the word C*nt at least 50 times in one sitting, in order to get your point across...much the same as the British do.

I too agree that sexist comments like this should be condoned, because only men have big enough brains to play war games.

This isn't a question of whether its right or wrong to use the word cunt. Personally, I couldn't care less, bc I don't have one. DF is pointing out the inequity of two almost identical instances being dealt with in opposing ways. Clearly not fair... This is an objective fact. If you want to attack DF instead of speaking to his (accurate) point, then so be it as I'm sure he can take it. Point is, he's right, whether u like what he's right about or not.

I agree with DF in his point, ronc should be given the same punishment. The change in this rule is also stupid (and therefore the management should not have changed the rules to condone this sort of language to be allowed). That was the point I was making, expanding on DF's point.

I'm going to attempt to explain this situation right now. TeeGee, if you want to change anything I say, have at it.



DF, your ban was issued while the forums were moderated under previous management. We are currently moderating the forums differently, in a more relaxed fashion, and not taking such a hard line regarding language. When you were banned, the ban was meted out according to moderating standards in place at that time. Under our new standards, a similar offense, such as the one you're referencing, does not rate high enough to earn discipline.

for instance... if i break a rule, i get an auto 6 months vs. a member that may get a day or two or three... glad to hear they are re-visiting this...

So arbitrary or vexatious past rule enforcement counts, but now many of those same rules are no longer applicable? Yet, you are held accountable for past infractions that may have been applied erroneously or maliciously?

At the very least revised guidelines? I assume the guidelines are developed, otherwise how do you know what to enforce?
