"New" Escalating system

What's this new escalating system all about?

I'm seeing people on less than round 100 cashing in like 40,000 for a set?!

I cannot see an option to change the escalating system, so wondering what on earth is going on?

Here is the suggestion that led to the change.
The way it works is that after the cash reaches 100 it starts going up by 10% of the previous value.
The change occurred back in January.

yes, it is no longer possible to play a game of risk here...

because, f*ck it... change is good no matter what...

every time i log on (which is becoming less and less often) they've tweaked something and created a new annoyance...

keep it up guys, doing a hell of a job...

Stop making escalating games with trench!

Escalating is designed to make fast-paced games that end quickly. Trench is designed to make slow, patient games that last a long time. They are completely opposite in intention, and totally incompatible. Playing escalating trench is like locking your parking brakes and revving the shit out of your engine. Of course you're going to break something!

So surely it would make sense for it to be unavailable to use esc cards with trench? Rather than just getting angry at people complain about the flaw?

Yes, I think that would be a good thing to do. Escalating should never have worked with Trench; the two ideas are incompatible. The only reason people got away with it is because escalating didn't work as it should have.

Agree if the intention were for em to not be playable togheter why let em be playable... the i would like to point out that esc and trench are fun and demands a bit of different approach when u play em... i mostly do it on feudal epic and its really a different strat.

And well dukasaur it depends on the vehicle:)

Yes, it would. Too bad the developers don't listen to me. Would save a lot of trouble...:)

Escalating WAS a fine setting for trench, K1 plays freestyle trench which can make it very fast-paced. Escalating is more even spoils-wise for games. Flat-rate is flukey, 10% of the time, your opponent will make a 3-card rainbow with 3 cards. In escalating, all first sets are worth 4. Nonsense to make it unavailable.

I am not sure what the fuss is all about (nor do I really care).
Am I to understand that CC changed escalating spoils, in an attempt to have trench/escalating work better?
If so, I think the guy who put this at the top of the list should be let go.

SO, with that...I will assume CC is no longer trying to keep this game original (risk).
Next time I have a suggestion that is a game changer...CC best shut it on the, ''keeping the game as original as possible.''
Can't believe CC is working on such a insignificant game issue.
Leave it alone...move on to some other suggestion (withdraw from combat).

I tell you what game mode I did find a complete farce.

Fuedal War
1vs1
No Spoils
No Reinforcements
Trench

Biggest load of BS I have ever played.

Escalating trench worked fine before the change, albeit a slow process of trying to gain an advantage before being able to press it home, the new system destroyed that as by the time any advantage could be gained the massive leap in spoils negated it, simply leading to either a stalemate or last to cash wins.
