I agree actually...
They're fast and furious and you win some you lose some... but they're a good laugh...
In the Board game version of 2 players the Neutral player still gets reinforcements... but with 3 on each square - I don't think this is necessary.

i played a lot of them on GS...at first i won my first 13 out of 14, but over time it dropped to 60/40 or so, so they werent worth the points, but nothing like killing time while playing risk by actually playing risk

I have 30 games at the moment and prefer the pace of how fast the 2 player games go.
Granted the majority of the game is based on whoever gets the best starting countries.
Played a 2 player game today, and he had the entire of Australia, and 3 in Africa which he conquered before i even had a turn.

I don't like to participate in 1 versus 1 matchups here on CC. There's really nothing exciting or surprising about it. That's why I spice it up a bit by making it an assasin game!

I didn't think I was going to like them, but I am hooked as well. They are nice and quick of course, but a ton of fun. All the ones I've played are world 2.1 which is extra fun because theres no such thing as a bad position.
Of course the other person can get a great position but its nice to be able to start from anywhere.

I love world2.0, so i took your advice sully...this is what i got for my trouble
this has to be the first alliance request against neutral right? I mean seriously...is this for real??? If I get a neg feedback for breaking a treaty in a two player game, I will never stop laughing....they wonder why higher ranks play higher ranks...lol
SWIFTEE: I somehow misplaced my troops. Was going for Sweden and they somehow wound up in Thailand... oh well
2007-06-01 21:23:04 - SWIFTEE: I still left you alone in Australia, how about we eliminate the Neutral player before we bother with each other much more
2007-06-01 21:23:58 - SWIFTEE: jackass... what the hell... don't you read these damn messages?
2007-06-01 21:24:18 - SWIFTEE: bite the bullet on that temporary truce...
2007-06-01 21:25:00 - SWIFTEE: f*ck this... I quit
2007-06-01 21:26:37 - AAFitz: its a two player game...you vs me...neutral is just in the way of that...and I did not read the chat...

Nah - I got an offer of an alliance against grey the other day....
One thing's for certain though - the Neutral countries are amazing at defence!!

I like 2-player games too. I think Austrilla is a good small map for them. So far I'm 3-1 on them, soon to be 4-1.

Yes, it's going to be quite embarrassing... at least I won that second game in like 23 minutes...
