Rare Conquer Stars/High Entry Fee AutoTournaments

So right now there are currently 5 autotournaments listed on the tournament page. As far as I can tell, only one has any chance of filling up at this particular time. So I have to ask, is there going to be an reasonable way to gain some of these highly rare conquer stars in the near future, or will we be staring at some of these autotournaments with zero participants listed as waiting for a while.

Case and point, the current quest for the blue stars tournament only has 3/16 people listed as waiting. It has an entry fee of 1 yellow and 1 pink star. Personally, I have a single pink star, but no yellows, so I cannot join myself.

Then there is a quest for the green stars. 1 blue, 1 yellow and 2 pink listed as an entry fee. 0/16 people currently waiting.

Then a quest for the red stars. Entry fee: 1 green star. 0/8 people waiting

A quick search has shown me that there has only been a single red star awarded for a complete autotournament. There is also another up for grabs in the Conquer Cup, as well as a green. I also see that there are currently 3 green stars to be award in on-going autotournaments and 1 blue star.

So it seems like we cannot reasonably expect these tournaments to fill up anytime soon at all. It has been 3 months since conquer stars were implemented, along with autotournaments. By all means, I love the idea of both, but right now there has only been 1 red awarded in 3 months with another up for grabs in a currently ongoing tournament. If that rate continues, it seems like one of those currently scheduled autotournaments won't begin until next January at the earliest.

So will there be some reasonable way of acquiring those stars in the near future (whether it be an increase in autotournaments, a lowering in the rarity of randomly found conquer stars, etc.) or will those tournaments be left on the autotournaments page for months as the "lofty goal" that we should all be trying to aspire to sometime in the distant future?

Well, the first place for the Goal tournament is a $500 Amazon gift certificate, so yeah, I could see it being a "lofty goal."

Well yes, it is a lofty goal. My real concern was more than, normally it seems like we see about 4-6 autotournaments waiting for players at a time, and we usually don't get new ones offered until the ones that are currently up fill up and start playing. But right now it looks like 4 of the 5 pending tournaments will not be filled any time soon.

True, true. There was a bit of a backlash against the auto-tournaments from the tournament organizers. I think they're trying to find a happy medium between offering auto-tournaments and supporting community ones.

True. Personally I love both auto and player run tournaments. Auto is easy and no hassle. Player run are usually more fun and creative with special gameplay. So I never had an issue joining both at any time.

I just find it kind of silly to post a bunch of auto tournaments that we cannot possibly start any time soon, making me wonder if there will be some sort of change to make it possible at least in the relatively near future.

This is a fair point, but with no tournaments up to use our common stars on, it's disappointing. I have gotten over 600 stars and haven't gotten a single pink star from a game.
