Kicked out for violatling rules?

I am in a game where one player was kicked out for violating rules. I'm not sure what rules the player violated. Could it be that he was kicked off the site for multiple accounts? The remaining players and myself have never seen this before. I'm sorry if this question has been asked but I searched beforehand.
