You know, every time, since 2009 I post I think of owenshooter (whose posts I often enjoy) who reminded me to do the same such thing when I was a noob. I think I freaked on him!

So. I looked (briefly) didn't see this covered in any place easy to find, so here I go...

Has any thought been given to a star cash-in? Here's what I mean. After johnnyrocket mentioned in a post about depositing his pink for a tourney, and I had no clue what the hell he was talking about I found the tournament link. Okay. I don't get out much. But what I found intrigued me. I saw one that required a pink star. I looked at my inventory to see if I had one. Seriously, after the first week I stopped paying attention to which ones I had preciously received.

But, again, cool idea regarding stars needed for entry. Since they are random, I figured I may have a pink one in my cache. Nope. So:

I would, since there is no star cash for a CC tee-shirt or coffee mug, I would gladly, exchange my:

4 cyan
18 orange
20 silver
36 violet
48 electric
37 auburn
and... wow...
62 drab for one lonely pink star.

There are plans to extend the functionality of inventory items. I imagine that converting them to a higher or lower quality would be possible, but I am not yet certain.

There was a suggestion about making stars by combining others which may interest you. I just tried to find it but failed.

On a side note, bit of enlightened thought here, the Elf could join a tourney that costs 4 cyan stars (which he has earned through damn hard work) with a chance to earn a plethora (yes, the Elf has the word of the day app) of pink... stars.

agreed though. even if the "less common" stars are still themselves kinna pointless, it would be kinna fun to trade in for them. Kind of like when you're playing Monopoly and you trade in your small bills for 500's just so you can sit there with your 500's
