I received a zero rating from a teammate several months ago. So I asked him why? And he said it doesn't count as a rating to affect ones overall rating. I see several players that were intending to give a high ranking player a poor rating as low as possible for his rude attitude by giving him a zero. But does that mean they thought they were giving the worst rating, but in reality they were giving no rating.

So the question is: what is the worst rating? A zero or a one. And if someone gives a zero rating, does it truly not count as a rating? I read "The Game- rating notes" and there is no zero explanation, but its an option. Also "1" defined as worst.
Thanks for the help.

Fair Play Star 4.8 (rated by 2295 players)
Gameplay Star 4.8 (rated by 2166 players)
Attitude Star 4.7 (rated by 2272 players)
Overall Star 4.7 (rated by 2309 players)

Each attribute has been rated a different amount of times - only possible if you can rate one attribute without rating them all. You can leave it the default zero stars to not leave a rating and not affect the averaged attribute ratings or the overall rating.

There is no zero option. The lowest rating is 1/5. Not leaving a rating, i.e. leaving a 'zero', means... not leaving a rating.

Sigh. There is a similar discussion ongoing in bug reports.

If you receive a zero rating it does not count towards that attribute (gameplay, fair play or attitude) but it does count towards your overall rating.
