Well they meant over 600 000 accounts out of which 500 000 didn t connect in the past 2 years. Out of the 100 000 remaining 60 000 were just randomly created and completed less than 4 games. Out of the 40 000 remaining, 10 000 are multis. Out of the 30 000 remaining, 20 000 have stopped playing!

Not quite as over 10000 accounts have been removed from the total count going by allocated membership numbers. I don't know how this works myself, but i am guessing it is somewhere along the lines of multi accounts being merged by number as to not give a false reading on genuine signups

I think that 99% of multis are never found, most of them being people who find the site, sign up for 4 games, see the restriction and go, oh i ll just make a second, and a third account! Then never come back because they weren t that interested in the first place, they were just killing time one afternoon...
I have no idea of how many multis the multihunters might have busted in a lifetime, but i m sure it s the very tip of the iceberg. But at least 10k out of 600k seems reasonable. That total 600k population has nothing to do with the actual cc community anyway.

There are currently 38333 users in the guest usergroup, while not all are busted multi accounts, the majority are. I do not disagree that a large number slip through the net, but very few last long term.

How do you know that? On what grounds can you make such a statement?

sigh... do a search for user Dancing Mustard or anyone else with a bogus perma-ban... they will be in usergroup "guests"... click on the GO right next to the usergroup and you will be taken to the members in the group... that group lists: 38339 users

Do they really want to bust multis?

Not sure they do.
My multi account has slipped through the radar.

honestly? I think they do have a vested interest in busting multis... it takes away from the integrity of the site, while not making up for it terms of revenue... though I'm not sure how many people would actually stop playing simply because they encounter a lot of multis... matter of fact, I'm sure the HUGE majority of players wouldn't notice a multi anyhow.. I know I don't really pay attention to it unless it's something obvious....

sigh......that's not the portion of his statement to which I was referring all seeing african american self titled jesus. I was specifically referring to this statement "I do not disagree that a large number slip through the net, but very few last long term."

I could never understand how they could ban paying players on dubious grounds but if you're a multi, simply buy your way back in. It's like they have it backwards.

Out of these, how many have actually finished 4 games with 80% attendance or more? Can we really consider someone who joined a couple of games, played a few turns and never came back?

Also, as i already said i think that the best measure is the number of standard medal recipients, around 40k. That s around 40 ish games for an average player, therefore people who were really involved for a given period of time once they started an account.
