Can someone explain to me how he managed what he did in one turn?

It looks like he cashed in multiple cards within the same turn...it seems really suspect.

He cashed in 3 sets, and lots of luck. Suck it up.

what happened was that he started his turn and knocked him out. He then took all his cards and had a total of well alot and chashed in twice. He used that to knock out the next player and steal his cards. It really isnt that hard of a consept. If you dont like it dont play freestyle

Fair enough, I just wanted a second opinion.

You know, whenever someone asks a question in these forums, people tend to be real asshats when answering them, you know, if CC is to grow, people should be a little more polite and mature.

no offense intended but we tend to get pissed after long days of dealing with n00bs that dont know the rules of risk or of the fourm. You would be surprised how many people post in the wrong fourms or break other rules

What sort of feedback were you expecting from a fairly homogeneous group of sexually frustrated teenage boys?

And, I'm outtahere on that note. Good luck everyone. See you next year maybe.

meh to tell the truth it's pretty common to see multiple cash-ins. Especially in esc games

Happens plenty in sequential too...even flat rate!

Love it when I do it, hate it when others do it but only because I couldn't!

8)

I've got a great idea: Create a newbie forum. Then only the mods will have to deal with stupid questions.

Actually a sub forums for newbie questions is not such a bad idea.

Yeh I was serious, but it would still be evil to the mods. Anyway, you'd need to put it up at the top in big letters where they couldn't miss it

Personally I don't like the way the newer members come on here and have the piss taken out of them.

If you can't help then shut the f*ck up.

I agree, thanks podge. :)

After all, we were all new once and nobody came to this site knowing everything there was to know already. So what if a certain question has been asked a million times already in the forum, new players wouldn't know that. So please, if you have nothing helpful to say, just move along and dont say anything. :)

Try game 389177, I went from 1 territory to having won the game in one turn. Gotta love escalating cards.

I've heard better - people have won from 1 territory in no cards

i agree, but your first reaction in the game was WTF to his move, and your title is at least on the accusatory side...and now youre calling people asshats....i agree people should be a little more polite and mature....

that being said...almost every escalating game will go like that...you were worried about someone with a territory in the game, which isnt usually a problem per se in escalating....all thats important is killing other players for their cards, and leap frogging to the next....moving too early will kill you....too late will do the same....you have to keep people from killing the others, and sometime you just need to be set up well...theres no way to win all of those..you just have to win the ones that you can....

now, im not going off the way I play these....just the way ive seen them play....im more of a vulture...most of my wins are capitalizing on others mistakes like leaving me 5 armies for a player who has 5 cards worth 50 armies....though, i manage to mess some of those up as well

The WTF was in response to his amazing luck with rolls, he had barely lost any armies. My asshat comment went to the two original posters below me and not the community in general.

how is that possible. They would only get 3 armis unless they already had a ton on the territory. Or if it was a team game

I said I've heard - I didn't see. But I do know that it was from only about 1-3 armies. I suppose he/she just deployed for a while and no-one bothered about them :?
