CC has erased alot of the history of usefull information

I tried to get a guide for Kings Court, or at least the past discussions to get some info
other than the beta release of the map, there is nothing anymore
thats totally unfair
all the clans who have been around here for years
have all the informations stored, and all we get is shit

Information

The requested topic does not exist.

thats all i get if i want to research some maps
thanks CC

i dont need the info, if i can practice playing against bots to understand the map
but the only maps available vs the bots are the easy ones
why not Kings Court? or >Hive??? or conquer rome or stalingrad or trafalgar .......

does anyone have a guidelist of Kings Court please???

People who play a game these days are always so obsessed with wanting to know everything before they started. If you want to learn a map, just join a public game with a high rank in it that played alot on this map. You may lose this game, but you can copy his technique, play a decent game, and then come up with your own (offcourse) better strategy.

Put some effort in it,I have never ever read a strategy guide from a map on CC and I think im doing just fine

It is a stack and blast map. Trench style you need the cats. Otherwise grab a knight and take out your opponent. One of my favorite maps...

Maybe you look at the wrong places? I still see all the guides which were written in 2007. Strategy forum has 18 pages, are you sure they deleted anything? If you don´t find a guide for KC, then perhaps no guide was ever written? Btw, what does this have to do with clans?

I asked why only a few maps were available for bots game, and the mods told me that's because the bots can't play with special features like killer neutrals yet. But it should be implemented sooner or later.

your point makes sense to me, but you play your way and i play my way,
for me its not only log in and play ( and try to learn from advanced cc players while u play some techniques)

i like to analyze first, make my majorplan, and evaluate every rd what the situation is
this is my way of joyfull playing , on some maps i just go for it and play without spending much time.
So far i have just played my way, focusing on settings and spoils, analyzing and learning it the hard way-
which amount of troops are better to attack a certain number of troops ( doesnt work anyway since i fail with attacking 6vs3 always, ALWAYS)
i am happy for you that your way worked, i dont know your way, but looking at your rank - it must have worked.

i dont know what the cats are? and about the knights info, thank u - i thought the archers are the keyplayers on that map

Maybe you are right and i looked at the wrong places- still dont know if if was right or wrong, but i did find very little info about that map.
So there was no guide written for Kings Court ? what a shame- its a great map, i cant write one- i dont know how to play it.
What has this to do with clans?
very simple, clans train, practice, educate themselves in their own forums,
all necessary and important information they have, they share amongst them
dont u have a strategy forum in your own clan? do you never discuss certain maps and settings....?

thanks for this information, i am very happy we have this bot games now
the biggest and greatest enhancement to CC
finaly i get to play whenever i feel like it,
without to worry that if i click all speed games i can join- i find only 3 players
or some gang in a 3 player game who just wants my points ( the way they play )
CC is now worth € 50 per year, i am willing to pay for this
there are maps vs the bots i have never ever played
Thank you CC for the bot games

aslan is obvious you current way of playing is not working, reading essays on play won't help either. Don't say, PLAY. Rather than bitching like a child who has just thrown their dolly out the window, "dolly broken!!!! Dolly Broken!!!!" Get out there and play. You learn by doing, not crying. Crying only degrades the skin on your face, has no useful function in this scenario.

Not working for you bro, time for a new way. I seriously doubt that CC has erased any information useful or otherwise. Just see all the necro bumping in fora.

Seems like i am in a bad clan, i didn´t find any useful guides in my clan forum. Can you name the clans which got all the nice guides in their forum? Perhaps i should consider to switch.

thanks so far for the cats info -loutil

serbias comments about english words, i want comment
i couldnt care less ( speaking 5 languages myselve)
to worry if i misspelled something or not,
i am glad i can communicate that much already and understand what u guys write , with or without spelling mistakes,
basta

about the clan thing, Seulessliathan
i would not go that far and say bad or good clan
but i think it is good if clans are active in their forum and exchanging different views of any playstyle on any map

i can not tell u about other clans,
but in our AOK Clan ( we did so far 2 clanwars- lost both)
we try to share the information which we find in the forums

but the reason is, we have alot of new guys in aok, and getting an insight to a map is better than just playing

if u play classic, doodle, or whatever bot game, it doesnt matter
but if u have to play trafalgar, before u do your 1 move, its good to evaluate the situation, drop...

Still, going back to the subject
with so much going on in the past, and cc eager to change things
i am sure , alot of the past forum posts have been deleted
or moved somewhere else, but instead of guessing
we can ask the mods, they should know

You'll get far better insight into any map by finding the top players and looking at their game logs. That's how to learn.

As for old posts, I was doing some research on old clans the other day and I found posts going back to 2006. So I'm pretty sure nothing has been deleted, certainly nothing a recent as a guide for King's Court or KCII.

^^^^^^^^^^^^
This. I am surprised more players do not understand this. I often go back through my opponents games to see how they play  .

it would be interesting to know how much is written per day in the forums
and how much storing space that would take,
not much? if we are talking mostly about text and no graphics really?

the suggestion with the gamelog is a interesting one
i guess i have been too lazy to do that,
therefore u have to know which topplayer plays which map best?
and which settings are used?

Couldn't you use the maprank addon to find out who is really good at a map (score wise) and then go look through some of their games?

As far as clan's sharing info on maps, ours (ACE) doesn't do that per se, but if people have questions about maps then people share what they know. It is certainly a valuable tool to help new people improve.

maprank no longer links to a database that sorted the top players on a scoreboard.
