map difficulty

Just a though i had. no putting this at suggestion thread just so i hear feedback.

i dont think that winning a game at doodle is the same as winning a game at classic map or at conquer rome..
i was thinking to change the way points are counted, i had in mind that if you win/lose a game at doodle map or maps as simple/luck dependent you will get the (amount of points) X 0.8
at a normal map it will remain the same (amount of points) X 1
and difficult maps it will be (amount of points) X 1.2

another option is to implement this at single vs team games, as team games are less luck dependent
single player (amount of points) X 0.8
doubles amount of points) X 1
triples (amount of points) X 1.1
quads (amount of points) X 1.2

what you think?

I'm sure it could use some work, but I really like the general idea and could see myself supporting this change.

Disagree completely... how "difficult" a particular map is to win on is much more a function of the competition in the game in question.... put it this way... 6 player doodle with all top playeres vs 6 player classic (or whatever other map you'd like to use for an example) with all scrubs? Much easier to win on the *complicated (lol)* map than the doodle with this example...... its all relative... maps are maps, but competition (and of course the luck/dice factor) are radically more relevant....

I agree with bubalicious here.

If you would like a complete summary: farming.

Don't drop the points of some maps/single player games. I don't agree with it anyways, because a maps "difficulty" is not based on the map itself, but who you are going against, just a bubbsie said. Also, ( as much as I hate to agree with him..;) ) as Caffeine said, this will create a chance for farmers to get even more points, and more will do it to get those points.

Impossible idea. How can you ever decide witch one is harder. Classic Fog 12 player game with freaking parachutes or poison rome with 2 players sunny?

It would be total dipshit to get 0.8 points on the classic game because it's ''easier'' then poison rome. I also disagree that team games are less luck dependent. A double, or triple with 2 teams on doodle earth is just as much luck as a 1vs1 unless 1 team consists of total idiots.
