Conquer Club

So there it was I took out a player for his cards and traded for 50 . 3 guys left and 1 had 4 cards , My armies about 80 his about 70 spread over loads of countries (over 20 , lots of singles) . It was my only chance to go for it , to just believe in the dice for once think the impossible that I could do it . It started so well , didn't lose an army for 10 throws and then came the test , a border of 20 , would the dice fail me now? NOOOO! the beauties did me proud , I only lost 10 or so.

From then I knew I couldn't do a thing wrong. 30 v 29 to take his cards and I was left with 13 , Not only that but I got a double cash from my 6 cards to win the game.

My point? This could be just a note to all players bashing the dice when things go bad and thinking its fixed but in reality its for me, for when in a few days time and I lose 20 v 4 or five 3 v 1's in a row just for a card, to remind me that in the big scheme of things it all works out in the end.

I'll say what I always say, whenever you blame the dice for bad luck, the defender had good luck. So next time it could happen to you.

but this is about how his dice loved him sweetly and gently. he's not complaining just showing the other side of the coin .

I know, but his post suggests the the dice has a specific allegiance, which is untrue.

I agree with that. Usuaklly, we tend to remember only the bad dice throws, and don't remember how many good ones we had.

My post was to remind others and me that they can be good as well as bad, but people forget the good times , this is so I don't
