Cross Mapping Colosseum

If you won a Battle Royale by some crazy chance, would that constitute progress towards Cross Map?

Yes. To cross map, you just have to beat 5 different people. So, if you win a 6, 7, 8, or more player game, you have the map cross-mapped.
