Help with cashing in cards in a flat-rate game

Postby qwerpoiuyt on Sat May 19, 2007 12:25 pm

I can't seem to find anything in the rules or the FAQ about what determines the value of a set of cards. I turned in a dark blue, light blue, and green and got a measly 4 armies, then did 3 blues and got six....I saw my opponents getting 10 armies and 8 armies at a time.

Can anyone post a listing to show what determines how many armies you get with your cards?

Thanks

You turned in two different colours of blue and a green? What are you talking about? Anyway, check the instructions. It's in there.

1-there is no dark and light blue

2-read the rules or faq its clearly stated

3-2 blues and a green dont make a set so I have no idea what you mean.

4-in case you are two lazy

Well, i'm looking at my cards right now in one game and I have two dark blues, a light blue, and a green. Maybe my colors are screwed up in my browser.

Thanks to the guy who was actually useful.

one of your blues are a red. its either the light or dark. Or you have all blues and you are just messed up.

Or they could be bolded...
bolded means you control that territory and get a bonus when you cash said cards in

it'd be so much easier if there was just a small image of the infantry, cavalry, and artillery piece like on classic RISK territory cards.

Hang on here... I suspect that you are in an escalating game...

If you cashed in a mixed and got 4 and then 3 blues and got 6... that sounds like Escalating.

If so each set boosts the amount a set is... so it goes...

4,6,8,10,12,15,20,25,30 +5...

Can you publish your game number?

If it were a flat game you get...

3 Reds = 4, 3 Greens = 6, 3 Blues = 8 and a mixed set = 10.

However you seem to have some difficulty in determining your colours... I wonder if this is your browser settings or whether or not you might actually be colourblind?

Either way - if you give us your game number then we can help you work out which of your 3 colours are which.

C.

PS - Ignore everyone else who posted in this thread... they've not been helpful at all... and infact some of them should be ashamed of themselves.
