PMs stay in the outbox until they have been read by the recipients. Or, when sending to multiple people, when one of them has read the PM.

people need to read your pm before it can disappear from the outbox, it has nothing to do with your inbox capacity

Forza/Chap in this thread said it was just opening the inbox:
viewtopic.php?f=57&t=165782&start=1

But I see most other places people just say when it is read including you sebstar.

Anyone willing to test this and have them send me two PM's and we can check by me reading only one of them as forza/chap claimed to?

I've always been interested to know which it actually is.

with opening, i equal reading.
so once the new mail is opened so that it no longer shows as new in your inbox, then its also out of the outbox of the sender.
bus sure i am willing to test each and every aspect

I believe Jippd means just opening the inbox, not the actual message.

opening the inbox does not change your msg status(read/unread) therefor thats not going to do it

Send me two messages. Title one OPEN THIS and one DONT OPEN THIS. I will open the open this one but not the other and we can see what your outbox says after I do.

another question

i read u can have maximal
5 folders at your pm

does sent messages , and outbox , and inbox
count as 1 folder?
if yes, that means i can setup
only 2 more folders , right?

5 folders other than the 3 you listed for a total of 8. I currently have 4 for a total of 7.

You know, I was pretty sure that if you open the inbox (not the message) it goes to the sent box of the sender.

Yes that is correct as soon as the inbox is open not the message

Anyone willing to test this with me to verify what is correct? Send me two messages one that says "OPEN THIS" and one that says "DONT OPEN THIS". I will then open the "OPEN THIS" message but not the other. Then you can check your outbox and let us know?!
