We may live without poetry, music and art;

We may live without conscience,

and live without heart;

We may live without friends;

we may live without books;

But civilized man cannot live without cooks.

Sometimes I pay my respects to Cooks by joining random games with them. eg Game 12765608

That said, I owe it to a Cook that, 600+ rounds later, I'm so far behind in Game 7799319

Fixed that for you.

For how can we distinguish between the civilized man* without the uncivilized man? We are bound to the Wheel of Duality.

*Obviously, there are no women in the world, and 'man' cannot not mean 'humanity'.

as a cook in RL:

You might have heard we are a dangerous crowd,

We ain't too pretty, but we are proud, but we might be laughing a bit to loud.

We share a drink we call loneliness,

But that's better then drinking alone...

I worked for Lt. Colonel Rich in the 1970's who was the Assistant Chief of Staff Management Systems at Parris Island and helped write manuals and other reports for the Marine Corps. It was during this time that "women's liberation" was becoming a big thing and during this time new rules were developed to reflect both sexes. Up to then "he" and other such pronouns were considered "universal pronouns" that included men and women. Of course in the politically correct world we now live in no matter what one says it will offend some group or individual.
