Why do tourney games that aren't full automatically delete after two weeks?

All private games (which tournament games are) that haven't filled within 2 weeks are deleted automatically by the system. They did this because private games require a password to join, so players can't just join the game at any time. 2 weeks is plenty of time for a player to send out the password or invitations, and the site doesn't want empty private games sitting on the pages into perpetuity simply because people don't join.

Tournament Games

These are games belonging to a community-run tournament and are created by members with special tournament game privileges. Such a game is listed under the "Tournament Games" section of "Join A Game" until either it fills up or 15 days have passed, at which point it will be deleted automatically.

So its not 2 weeks, but 15 days.Why? because they had to draw a line somewhere.
