Ah, I still remember my first game...

Mind you, it was only 3 months ago...
Well, whatever.

Was your first game a win or a loss?

I lost...
Actually, techincally, I came in third, but that doesn't matter...

won.

Well, discluding my first four games, in which I deadbeated, my first proper one was a great freestyle rt. The game swung to and fro but, after much deliberation, I was eliminated.

Anyway, I bet that all those saying they don't remember lost as well.

Well, I don't think it was my first game I finished, but the first one I joined, I won. 6 player British Isles game. Netted me some nice points.

Hmm looking back at my old games, it was a triples and I've won.

lost it but made up for it by beating some pretty high rank people on my other games i started with. it was ages ago and i remember some parts but not most of it

My first game was space and I didnt know the settings. The space stations confused me and I only concentrated on taking 1 territory again and again.

I lost horribly. I lost it to happy2seeyou, oddly enough. It would've been better if my partners hadn't sucked...

I won my first game but only because it was a triples game. After that I lost about eight straight games before I won another.

It took me one or two games to get the hang of CC. After that my score rose to what it belonged at. Most people I think would find this the case. You usually need a little experience to really succeed on CC, the problem I think is that when new players don't experience much if any success in their first 2 or 3 games they get discouraged and leave. I was lucky in that I won my 3rd or 4th game against 3 lieutenants and so gained that little confidence builder which os necessary to do well and not give up playing.

There are my 2 cents (Canadian) worth.

I'm still in the middle of my first game. Makes it kinda hard to forget.

i lost just about every single one of my first 50 games but then went on a bit of a roll to my recent high score and am now on a bit of a downstreak

Got my ass handed to me (and expected just that). Impressive how far you can get in only 3 months.

My first game I was first eliminated first. Although I won my third, which was a standard 5 player on the U.S.A. map, which won me 84 points. Ever since then I've won about 75-80% of my games on that map

I lost and my teammate was horrible.

I won my first game, and my second one. My first game was a dubs 6 player with no cards. Longest game I ever played, went on forever. My partner hung in there with me. I think he's still a striper, didn't go on to become a CC addict like me as far as I know. It was a memorable game.
