What bothers me is that from reading that thread I'm assuming jdizzleslice knew that this guy had all the multis that he had. The fact that he is a tech contributor and possibly has knowledge of the inner workings of the site makes me feel uneasy. Shouldn't volunteers for the site uphold the moral value and integrity of the site? If jdizzleslice has no problems with multis (apparent by him not reporting the infraction) and finds out ways to create multis that can't be found by the site as a tech contributor will that not pose a problem? The fact that jdizzle possibly knew that this guy had all of these multi's and said nothing is what bothers me.

I'm interested to know what admins think about this situation or players in general.

I would have asked in the C&A thread but mods closed it so I will talk about it here.

I have spoken to JDsizzle about this and he wasn't aware of the multi accounts until he was reported. I believe him when he says this. JD has also stated that he is uneasy about him being able to buy back premium given what he has done (he says that in the C&A thread)

My only reaction was a little bit of concern in the relative disinterest that JD had with the behavior(because it was his friend?). However, I didn't get the impression that JD condoned what he had done.

ok, when sometimes I feel like some half ass cases can be taken a bit too seriously; this is the biggest outrageous cheating case I have ever witnessed on this site, and I feel like it has been treated very very lightly.

-Hacking a retired top player's account to use for his adantage
-18 or 25 multi accounts (don't remember but exact figure is irrelevant)
-multi accounts created just in order to inflate one of his account's score
-trying to frame MC05025 with that account name or something?

I mean this is huge. this IP adress should be banned forever.

I do agree with betiko that it's being treated too lightly. Seems like because the guy admitted everything and has personal problems it diffused the issue but that really shouldn't enter into it right?
Also, one can't help but wonder about the user behind all this? Does he/she have a primary account that was in no way involved in all this?

Yes, this a very serious issue and Jippd has certainly raised some eyebrows. What was the reason for this? jdizzleslice supposedly knows, so why did this situation occur?

Your interpretation of the situation is exaggerated and misleading, but since you did link to the source, people can check for themselves.

Appears to me jdizzle is sympathetic for this player

This comes off to me that jdizzle is almost saying it is the websites fault it can be hacked and not the fault of the hacker themselves

Very good friends means to me that they must at least talk once a week if not more.

^^^^Those are his replies and the assumptions that I made. I may be wrong or I may be right I don't know but it is how I interpreted the situation.


I read the thread multiple times and I don't see a clear answer for what the truth is and I don't think anyone could tell by his posts in that thread.

My interpretation is that if jdizzle knows this guy in real life he likely talks to this person. I find it hard to believe the fact that his friend had 25 other accounts never came up in discussion between them. If they are "very good friends" as he states what are the odds that this never came up? Jdizzle also says that he knows why the person did this. Was this previous knowledge or did he ask the multi after the fact?

The very first sentence that I had in my original post said that "I am assuming" I never stated anything as fact and I'm just looking for clarification on the issue from several sources:

-The players themselves to see what they think
-Admins/You multi hunters on how you feel about if he knew before or after the fact
-Jdizzleslice (Mainly) to figure out what the truth is

I stated in my original post: "The fact that jdizzle possibly knew that this guy had all of these multi's and said nothing is what bothers me." Note the use of the word POSSIBLY. I don't say that he definitely did as I don't know that.

As I said before I had to post here because the thread was closed in C&A. So before you unload the attitude on me I would appreciate if you would take the time to re-read my posts and realize that I said this was all an assumption and that I'm looking to have a DISCUSSION about the topic in the GENERAL DISCUSSION forum.

JD did in fact say that he was premium before so he should be able to buy back which is CC policy. I don't know if it would be allowed in this case, that isn't up to me or JD, it is up to the site admins who handle this sort of thing, anything or anyone else is really jumping to conclusions.

I have no idea if the guy even wants back in, but if he did, the whole situation would be examined by the admins. Moderators are excluded from this process, but personally (my opinion as a site user, not a mod) I would like to see this guy excluded from this site.

The fact that JDsizzleslice is a tech contributor to the site does not automatically give him access to the internal workings of the site.
