So earlier today a player who will go unnamed for now, told me he foed me because I deleted untrue and gaudy, poorly written gibberish off my wall. He proceeded to tell me it was a "cowardly" thing to do since it's deleting "unflattering" stuff off your wall. Thing is, I leave lots of unflattering stuff on my wall just as long as it's intelligent.

Another one I've heard is foeing someone because they foed you. This one also doesn't make much sense to me. Why eliminate your options?

The worst reason for foeing someone is because they use cheap tactics you don't agree with. Having different values from someone else is totally unacceptable, as evidenced by this thread.

There are no stupid reasons to foe somebody.

As a matter of fact, one doesn't even need a reason.

Everyday I go to the forum and scroll down to the list of registered users. I then proceed to randomly select 1 name and add that player to my foe list.

I've always felt foeing for medals was pretty lame, especially if you don't give the guy you've beaten a chance to beat you back.

A valid reason...if you are a Real Madrid fan....

It's all psychological. Rename the "foe" button to the "uninvite" button (or in other words - "I would rather play someone else right now" button). "Foe" sounds too unfriendly and in the politically correct world we now live in, someone's feelings may get hurt since someone doesn't wish to invite them to their table.
