Tour Stats Results names have raised suffixes

I have searched for an explanation of the 1's and 2's that are on some of the player's names in the results thread of some Tournament Statistics. These numbers are appended to the player's names and are raised as though they refer to a page note - but no explanation on the Tour Stats pages.

As the same player can appear with a 1 or a 2(or none) this causes me problems when I am summarising results using Excel macros. If I know what they refer to though, I can possibly remedy this problem.

I'm sure that there is a simple rationale - but I can't see it!

That number tells you what team they were on.
This is so that, in a multi-team game, you can see which team was eliminated first.
