Conquer Club

I am currently involved in my first game on the nordic countries map. I'm having trouble determining what the most strategic territory is to control and which territories are relatively unimportant. Any recommendations and/or strategies?

If it's a multiplayer game, try to pick up some of the capitals. They autodeploy +1 every turn, which adds up fairly quickly.

If it's 1v1, then regardless of the map your strategy should be to limit the number of places where your opponent can get an attack on you next turn, while maximising the places where you can get an attack on him.
