Just won this game a few minutes ago having only 1 army left at one point, then my opponent had 1 army left and started coming back. I got tremendously lucky with 3 blue cards in my hand in the last turn and managed to win. My first public win and probably the most exciting game I'll ever play.

I definitely owe the win to escalating cards. Hats off to francobolos for being an amazingly great sport about it.

I've won from worse positions than that before - seems like you still had quite a few armies left on your 2 territories before your attack. I've won a few when i've been down to 3 or 4 total armies.
