I am still a private, and learning a lot with each game. But there is one thing that I have not been able to figure out. How are the blasted points calculated? I tried to figure it out from the instructions, but I must not understand english very well, because I don't know what winner/loser*20 is. Is it the winner's points/loser's points *20?

sorry for the stooopid question, but It's been bugging me for a while now.

No. It's the losers score, divided by the winners score times 20

losers score/winners score*20

yes (winners/loosers) *20. If it was the other way, a high rank player would get more points for beating a low rank player. This is how much the winner gets from one of the loosers.

 I made that mistake too when i first answered, shoeguy is confusing!

Score

Conquer Club players are initially given a score of 1000. At the end of each game, the winner takes points away from each loser. The points to be awarded is calculated as (loser's score / winner's score) * 20, up to a maximum of 100 points from each opponent.

If it was winner's/loser's * 20...the winner would get more points if he has a higher score.

2000/1000 * 20 = 40.

1500/1000 * 20 = 30.

Would a colonel at 2000 points gain more points than a mid-captain at 1500 points ? For beating a new recruit? Nope...

Loser's/winner's * 20. That's the right answer.

Higher the number below in the fraction, smaller the total number will be. Gotta be the winner there.
