I can be a bit of a slow player; prompt and very little missing of turns but thoughtful.. sorry my brain crackles rather than sparks. So once in a while i get the odd friendly heckle when it takes me 25 minutes to move a troop from china to siam and then back again. (i do not play RT i hasten to add)
Just an idea but has it ever been put forward to have a speed risk option?
For example:
-15 minutes per go.
-4 hours per round
you must have considerred it CC. any reason why not?

-4 hours per round
How'd that work, exactly?
It's too long to finish a game within the day and too short to be able to sleep without missing a turn.

hehe well i didn;t say the idea was perfect.
you could make the rounds 2 hours perhaps .. and you could have an option where if a majority of the people playing pressed the postpone button you can delay the game for 12 hours.
Getting a majority would just take a little negotiation; a bit like in some poker-sites where you split the top prizes in even shares if everyone agrees on the final table.

Anyway, as Wisse kindly pointed out a Speed version is in the process of being implemented.
(not sure about the postpone button though)

speed games are on the to-do list. don't bother posting it again in the suggestions forum, where this should've been. Please try reading over the To-Do list before making suggestions. Thanks.
