Is it bad manners when you join a game that you did not start to invite other players?
I always find it a little suspicious when I have started a game and see a reserved slot I did not create and if I do not know the other player drop the game.
So is it wrong, bad mannered or normal?

Me personally I don't care since it means the game will probably get started sooner. Never really gave it a thought though personally. Interesting question.

I have some folks I like playing with and sometimes reserve slots for them in games I did not create. We're competitive against each other, so I never thought anything of it. But now that you mention it, I can see how it would come across as a bit suspicious. I'll keep that in mind in the future!

Now that I think about it, it does seem a little rude to invite players to someone else's game. I think it would probably be most polite to either start your own game or at least ask the game creator if they object to you inviting your own friends.

If its an open game what difference does it make?
I can agree with an earlier post that it looks suspicious but if anyone can come to the game anyway, what makes it rude?

suspicious, out of 10 times, 9 times suspicious, just drop the game ( if its not too late )
