On 2011-05-21 23:39:30, I asked you to change your avatar to something more appropriate.
It seems that you have slipped down that road of "inappropriate"-ness yet again.

Upon collaboration and second opinions with the others in the C&A team (as not to single you out), it is clear that we all are able to view nipples:

Community Guideline - "Any images of pornographic activity or nudity - nipples, areola, genitals, anuses etc - whether intended as artistic, erotic, pornographic or otherwise are not allowed."

You have 24hr to change it to something more appropriate.
If you choose not to change it:
1. The current avatar will be removed for you AND
2. Your ability to display avatars will be permanently taken away from you AND
3. An official warning.

We have gone down this road before and the choice is all yours...

ok my problem is why now for one I've had this avatar for a long time theres been no mention of any issue before I've posted in the forum in many places i cant believe the powers that be haven't seen it until now.
being accused of being warned for avatar before when it was a banner OK guess its a pic i can live with that lol
now regarding AVI can you really see the nipples or is it just the fantasy's of the mods or just being jealous of MARIO

No nipples on display here...Mario has a long sleeved shirt as well as a high apron...
As for the female(?) part of the avatar....the nipples are "contained" behind the bikini top...is it becoz there is an "outline" of a nipple? Hell, they must have had fun getting there magnifying glasses out and checking out the evidence...Hell, guys, inside that bikini top are BREASTS and 100% of the human population has nipples so a no brainer that they're there but really...get a grip...or, better still, don't...

I disagree with CC policy in certain ways but the no nudity rule is VERY reasonable and expected on practically any non-porn forum on the internet.

I kind of fail to see how you have any case at all, or why you're posting a thread... file an e-ticket after you've changed your avatar, I can't imagine an admin taking your side based on the clear reasonable rule and your rather obvious violation of it but knock yourself out...

The OP is about the rules and punishment of allegedly pornographic avatars ON CONQUERCLUB. As an example, OP provides his avatar on CONQUERCLUB.

Since CONQUERCLUB != NOT CONQUERCLUB, and since OT is for NOT CONQUERCLUB,

then we must conclude that this does not belong in OT.



If certain mods had any capacity to reason (or at least use 20 seconds with their brain), then they'd move this to GD.

Petty would be if I was advocating some kind of persecution of codie and looking for minutae to base it on, which I certainly am NOT doing. I have nothing against codie; I've only on very rare occassions encountered him in some peripheral way and have no reason to wish him any ill. Furthermore, I like a nice set of tits as much as any other hetersexual guy. I quite liked his avatar and would never have dreamed of complaining about it. But obviously somebody did, and after reading what's been posted here and looking at the rule I have to agree that whoever complained was correct. The avatar, however innocuous, did violate the rules.

Straddling the fence would be if I was posting an "I can see both sides" attempt at compromise. But I'm not. There's a clear delineation. If photons bounce off the surface of the organ and enter the camera lens, the organ is exposed. If photons simply bounce off of an artificial fabric then the organ below the fabric is not exposed. A picture of yourself in a Speedo does not break the rules; a picture of yourself in Saran Wrap does. With Lycra and Spandex it's often a pretty thin line, but the line is there.

Why is it that an exact clearly defined encyclopedia of rules needs to be authored to give judgement on every single possible variation of an avenue of potential interpretation?

EDIT: She said no

The avatar was reported and like we were accused got out the magnifying glass to check it or them out. What convinced me that they violated the guidelines was the fact that Mario turned around. If Mario has the decency to turn then we all should.

I think the line should be drawn right above the ankles. Where it should be, ladies.
