DCR/KA, What a bunch of fuggin' horse shit

While on sabatical, I asked a clanmate's help getting this (originally drafted/posted 7/14/12):
. . .to KingAchilles and Deathcomesrippin. DCR claims to have provided me with an explanation before posting it in C&A but I was traveling for 1.5 days came back and STILL cannot see my inbox (8/14/12). Now I'll share it with all of CC:
RESPONSE TO "DCR EXPLANATION OF GLG BAN":
1)you did NOT explain to GLG until that was posted. if you sent a PM, I was traveling, then banned so I never read it. It is STILL NOT in my inbox either.
2)wtF does "we will see if it is ok with everyone" mean? What total BS. I returned, was banned and the Agreers mostly chimed it -- as expected.
3)Ranching: let's be clear, it's PLAYING lower level ranks. Farming was playing, not just inviting. so your logic is flawed again.
4)"abusing the game by purposefully inviting people". Here logic is flawed again. I USED to set up games and verbally invite people to join them. In the C&A in question THEY created the games and I JOINED. HUGE difference.
5)"no experience with certain settings to guarantee a win." wrong again, look up the word GUARANTEED. people ALWAYS have a chance, especially with CC's "random dice". CM minimizes the impact of faulty random strings of dice.
6)"create the games" logic flaw/stupidity: Opponents CREATED the games, I did not
7)"private matches": logic flaw; they are 1v1 games. wtF difference did it being PRIVATE have with this? Private with a password prevented other people that the CREATOR didn't want to play from joining a game that they AGREED to play with me.
"under the guise of limiting losses", no guise, it was 100% to MINIMIZE losses -- see last WWII Eur game/loss. and since when is having the self control to not jump into games with risk of losing more than I want against any rule?
9)"a gross abuse of our gaming system" I was warned that CREATING private games for poor "targets to join" was a gross abuse; this is DIFFERENT. THEY CREATED the game, and KNEW what the settings were going to be. Maybe before some weren't careful and didn't check (wanted fast game), but Caveat Emptor.
10)"invite them under the guise of education" to claim that ALL or MOST of my games employed this is an outright LIE. SOMETIMES I would offer to show them what I knew, but to say "guise of education" is an exaggeration and LIE.
11)"it was decided" shows to me that YOU did not decide and that your group of buddies collectively decided that my last 6-7 games were the same as several 100's before. Again, flawed logic: all above Private as warned, I joined games opponents created, I didn't create the game.
12) "I won't tolerate any flaming, baiting, or anything of the sort." you say that then allow people to do it and lock it yup, INSTEAD of warning/banning offenders. Amazingly you lock it up before the accused can rebut any of your BS.
1 or 2 of those I could discount as less than intelligent thinking. 12 comes across as very sloppy vindictive interpretations by a lynch mob. This was a SLOPPY post/punishment made by a bunch of angry/jealous people that haven't any idea how difficult it is to get to #1.
The BIGGEST falsehood in all of this is KA's use of MALICIOUS in the original warning. It was prudent, careful play, NOT abusing anyone or any system. Especially when CAPTAINS were played lately and 2 people posted they weren't abused. The first posted by himself, the second I asked to post positively and he did.
So let's have a REAL discussion -- without all the repeated flames/baits from the peanut gallery,

I apologize. I did not explain to anyone apart from GLG why he was given a ban. I will now, and we will see if it is ok with everyone. I am also going to unlock the thread, allow for people to post their (respectful) thoughts and comments, and attempt to answer them as much as I can.
Gen.LeeGettinhed was banned for 1 month as per the situation guidelines for Gross Abuse of Game, which is a major offence. The unofficial term for the particular problem is "Ranching". Simply speaking, it is the case of someone abusing the game by purposefully inviting people who have no experience with certain settings to guarantee a win.
Now, it isn't the fact that he is making these games that resulted in this. It is the fact that he would purposely seek out players with little to no experience on the maps, create the games, and invite them to private matches. This was under the guise of limiting losses, but regardless of the reason, it is still a gross abuse of our gaming system. People will say other players do this. Other players will start games, multiple ones, on maps that they are good at. I myself start 10+ Poland games whenever I get the urge to, as I feel it is my strongest map. But they do not purposely hunt down players who don't understand the maps and invite them under the guise of education, whether there was education or not. Again, this is abusing our system. After examining the situation, it was decided that this indeed did qualify as a Gross Abuse, and the infraction was handed down as per our guidelines. Any questions or comments (within reason), feel free to post in here. The same rules I posted earlier apply though: I won't tolerate any flaming, baiting, or anything of the sort. Keep the remarks clean. Thank you.
