This is from one of this players last games. 0 points, thats right. This player has joined over 400 games, and yet never takes a turn. One would think that while your on joining games, that you might bother to take a turn in one that you are already in. There is no doubt that this player is doing this on purpose.

Also, the only time this player ever has won a game was when he/she was in a doubles game along side PassIsPaws, looks fishy to me. They are not multis, I asked wicked to check for me, however it could be two friends abusing the system. Even if not, it bothers me that someone would intentionally make there score get as low as possible.

Maybe there should be a minimum number of points a person looses in a game, maybe 5 or even 2.

I would like to hear how everyone else feels about this.

Yes, simtom should be banned. Not because he has a low score, but because he has deadbeated in hundreds of games on purpose. He has ruined hundreds of games and means to continue ruining games until he is stopped.

Got to be tough getting banned around here, but in this instance I could see the need to remove the user and block his ISP from the site. Man, I am new and already giving my opinion about stuff that I should keep my hands out of.

1) Deadbeats are agreed to be a problem.
Simtom has deadbeated 100s of games.

2) The saving grace of having a deadbeat in your game is that you can win points from them.

It is next to impossible to win points from Simtom becasue his score is so low.

QED Get Simtom to stop the madness.

I like the minimum points idea but I think the minimum should be mush higher. I am thinking 7 point minimum and if you deadbeat out of the game you lose double. Then if you hit 0 points you are banned.

i think a special case should be made for simtom
if someone plays only 5 games say and they just aren't very good but try then they should be punished. if they enjoy playing then they aren't harming anyone. simtom on the other hand is deliberately deadbeating en masse.

he lost 0 points to someone on less than 1000 points. if i played him would he gain points from me just for having got in the game?!?!?!

and wat i really want to see is all the generals playing against simtom.

There is a maximum of 100 points to be lost from each player the most he could get is 500 from a game

Someone's score, however low, shouldn't be the reason to be banned. CC after all is a free site. Do people abuse their privilege ? ....... absolutely. As in Simtom's case- he has deadbeated hundreds of games. This alone should be the reason to ban him.

or possibly put him on the newly formed suggested ignore list?

simton has not joined any new games in about three weeks and he is out of all the ones he has active. enough about him!!!!!!!

correction players with under 300 points should be banned in my point of view they just ruin the game
better then i think any guy that signs in and misses 3 turns in 4 games (which get him kicked out that guy should be also banned from playing

That is not true. When simtom actually plays, he plays very well. He joined two escalating games that I was in and while he did miss a couple turns, he won both games. At the time, there were 2 captains and a major in the game I believe.

Anyway, I do believe that do to the amount of games he has ruined by being a deadbeat, simtom should be banned.

he has been added to the suggested ignore list. I would admonish all to add him to their list.

I have an idea

What if there were games in which people with only low points could join?
Or what if there were games in which people had to have X numed of points to join the game. This would stop him from ruining some games. And there would be less points won/lost in the low points games

I'm not the best and I don't want to be banned if I go to low in points.

You could have only so many in a given time period (3-5 per month)

They could be warned by a PM and/or could be blocked for a certain period of time from joining games ( 1 week to 1 month)

That wouldn't stop simtom...

in EXTREME cases players could be BANNED

i agree that SIMTOM (not siNtom) should be banned...but not necessarily not everyone under 50 pts should be banned...they might suck that bad

I like this idea, but if you drop to lower than 400 points i think you shouldnt be allowed in team games as well
