This is not a great story. It is however a cautionary tale about just doing a little research before posting.

And by little here, it would have meant reading what I wrote, and checking the log for a second, Instead I got this little gem:

[I lose Ghyr]
2012-07-19 08:50:25 - AAFitz played a set of Figye, Coin Mint, and Lo'ln nuking each region
[she loses Figye]
I hit her Figye, and she hit my Ghyr Now she complains about it:

Ill let someone else figye out the odds of getting ghyr three times in a row on AOR Magic. Im guessing its not good.

As they say, it's random, so every draw is the same odds, right? Like defense rolling 6 sets of triple 6's in a row? It's just that damned upper level low hoovering over the Emerald Isle again

wow your opponents roll 3 dice in defense? even more impressive than rolling only 6s 3 times in a row.

Every individual roll is the same, but getting it three times in a row is not the same

Much as getting heads or tails is always 50/50 but getting heads 100 times in a row is far more unlikely.

I would agree, if they weren't so adamant about me getting much better cards than them. The timing of her nailing my castle on every cash, after suggesting she didnt even hit it the first time, and that my cards were better was just priceless from my point of view.

If you mean the odds of getting the same card on a massive board three times in a row, I agree.

If you mean the thread in general, I mostly agree it looks that way, but suggest it was difficult to organize the log and chat, to show the very simple story of: Player complains about my better cards as she gets my castle three times in a row, with odds pointed out to be 1 in 804K or so. The goal being to point out the silliness of the chat, and simultaneously point out insanely unlikely events at a time that made silly chat, look even sillier. But yeah, in the wrong context...its crazy.
