What makes CC fun for you?

Like, since past 6 months rising in Rank had been the fun thing to do for me, but now I don't care about ranks..............I know some people like playing in new maps, others like making maps, some enjoy CC just because of tournaments/ clan wars. I'm just wondering what every here likes about CC that keeps them here, so please post!

Medals! mostly team ones right now - just finished Gold Quads 2 weeks ago now, and have 393 triples defeats!
Course - now I wish I hadn't been in a rush, cause could have been working on teammate medal at the same time! Figures...

Clan life is the thing that keeps me coming back. I also get to stay in touch with my college buddies which is why I came here in the first place.
I'm amazed by the quality of people that I have met on CC and feel very fortunate that a number of top notch people decided to choose renting pigs as hobby.

1. Strategizing. It's what got me hooked and still what I like the most.
2. Clans. Strategizing as a team.
3. Winning. Medals have an allure, but I can never get myself to sacrifice points for them.

One time it was becoming conqueror- done that
Made a second run for conqueror- done that
5 unique kills on every map- done that
most wins on the site- done that
most unique defeats on the site- done that
most completed games on the site- dont that
host 30 tournies for medals- done that
get 5 whac a mod medals- done that
get general achievement medal and general contribution medal- done that
not really much left to do which is why I been non premium the past 2 years.

Playing 1vs1 games definitely. And playing Team Games with the same group of folks I've been playing with over the last year and half as well.
And perusing the Map Foundry and seeing what maps are in the pipeline has been one of the things that has always kept m around. And lastly, sifting through the Off Topics every now and again can add some fun-value to everything as well.
