Granted, time is finite, and so our resources, so in order to entice the developers to implement a suggestion, why not have the CC members offer them money for completing the suggestion (after it's given the go-ahead by the Board)?
I think lack looks in the entire suggestions forum, chooses one at random, regardless of how much/little public support it's gotten, and then goes ahead and codes it.
I think they should get rid of the suggestions forum. Regardless of how much time lack puts into this site, it pretty much serves as nothing more than a false hope factory. You see a great suggestion, post your support, it gets moved into "submitted suggestions", and then you see it rot there for several years.
Then you have suggestions like nuclear spoils or "skip a game" that had very small support get implemented and you're all like "da f*ck, man?"
Mr_Adams created a "Increase to 12 players" suggestion in 2007. Five god damned years ago. I don't know much about coding, but it doesn't seem to be that big of a problem considering lack has increased the players previously. Why he seems to be ignoring it, I don't know. It just serves as false hope.
