When olympic players get caught using steroids dont they forfeit their medals? So why give a player a medal that cheated his way to the top?

he cheated to get there , it wasnt noted like GLG, krusher was busted so no medal should be issued

Everyone has bent the rules in this game at least once. The only difference between me and the rest of the community was that I was made an example. Happens all the time in the real world.

Rarely do they forfeit any medals. they are only banned from competing in further events for that season. If you were to remove all players who abused the rules in sports you would be left with empty hall of fames. Clear example just read about Babe Ruth in Baseball or the New England Patriots in Football.

It is true that I was found guilty of Secret Diplomacy with BlackIrish BUT if you were to calculate the points that I won in the overall games played with him, you will see that I came out with NEGATIVE 19 points from my overall score. I gained nothing and was stripped of everything. My skills were tested and proven to be legit. I've been severely punished. Other Known rule violators (Blitzaholic, skyT... and pretty much anyone who has made it to the top) have been awarded the conqueror medal and little discrimination. It should not be any different for me.

Blitz was conqueror years before being caught cheating. You were caught at the exact time you were conqueror and since than, came no where close to being conqueror.

Whooooah. . .wtF? GLG was NEVER found guilty of cheating/breaking the rules. Some NEW largely nebulous (look it up) interpretation was made that GLG "abused the system" -- methodically playing lower ranked players on difficult settings. This new interpretation has NOT (to my knowledge) been applied to ANYONE else -- but GLG.

Blitz was conqueror years before being caught cheating. You were caught at the exact time you were conqueror and since than, came no where close to being conqueror.

ahh so it goes back to the old catch 22... its not cheating UNTIL you get caught.

When you consider what the medal represents now, it's only worth something to those that gave up their integrity to get it.

All in all, I agree with Pedro. Just give the guy a medal. And give his girlfriend a conqueror medal, too.
