how the dice works for newbies, even premium

Postby AslanTheKing on Sat May 26, 2012 6:41 pm

Hello everybody,

I have realised a little randomness, concerning the dice, now u wonder maybe, but listen

if u reach points above 1750 -1800,
miraculously your dice starts to behave weird, so your points go down to 1500,
as soon u reach 1300, 1400, your dice gets really good again,
dont know why but thats what i realised,

coincidentally i started a tourney with 1300, maybe 1400
and hey, i was doing really good, extremely good,

then i reached 1800 +, and guess what , points go down big time,
now with my 1550 ? points i had the chance to win classic, standard with 8 guys,
thats 200 points right?, and what happened?

i traded and had 70 troops to kill 35? click , i lost troops, click, again, click,
so i thought , o give autoclick a chance, 18 troops against 3, i lost all but 6????
making it impossible for me to kill the guy with 5 tradecards,

that much in my opinion to randomness,
have fun figuring it out,

and if u above 2000, be happy that youre lucky, nothing else

best wishes from aslantheking

ps:
this was one example, but in 1 1/2 years, i have seen this up and down
now, i dont want to say i have finished militaryschool in strategy,
but u know what , im not stupid , that much i can say about myself,
i know myself now 40 years???

and i know how to win, give me chess, backgammon, even monopoly
i WIN
okay

i win , because its in my powers,

but here?????

i am a playball
a number
an idiot in a system you cant break , unless u have tools, or whatever

enjoy thinking, what to write

peace and prosperity for all ;)

wtf are you talking about?
what about people who maintain a constant rank of colonel or higher? do they get permanent good dice or something?
or what about those that seem to be forever stuck as cooks? do they roll only 1s?

choose your maps/settings/opponents more carefully, improve your skill and you'll see how easy it is to become at least a major.

what youre saying is true,
i choosed my map, setting, opponents carefully,

i am able to win at least one game out of 10 , playing with 8 guys, escalating,
i might lose some points, but with one win i will maintain my rank,

but when its my turn, i trade and can mathematically kill my opponent, who has 35 troops and 5 tradingcards,
and i am not able to kill him with 74 troops in an escalating game, where i get not only 5 cards from him, also get the chance to trade right away
and kill the next guy who has 4 cards, the next guy who has 2 cards,

i could have been sweeping through, but it was not my superiority who stoped it, it was the dice ,

come on , what do you want me to do, ,,, think of randomness??

if i would have gotten the points which have been stolen from me,

i would have maintained my rank, i would have been happy with 1750 points

Dude, shut the hell up. You wanna know the reason your points go down so much when you're a higher rank? BECAUSE YOU LOSE MORE OF THEM! And when you're a lower rank, you gain more. Huh.. Doesn't make much sense. Maybe because YOU'RE A LOWER RANK! I can't stand people like you. Don't bitch about the dice. That's not true. They come and go for all. I'm getting rhp in here..

I haven't been to sergeant FC for over a year (Except a couple times, when I played one too many ass doodles). You are just not a good player. Don't complain about the dice, because this game has strategy, and lots of it.

BECAUSE YOU LOSE MORE OF THEM!

Gabriel, i can understand youre getting upset, i used to be on that level of frustration up and down,
now i dont want to waste my energy getting 150 percent pissed off, i control myself to get pissed off 65 percent :)

now back to the topic,

i played terminator , flatrate, classic, as a guy with lowranks, between 1200 and 1500
that way i went up until 1800,
then i realised i am the guy everyone is after , fair enough, my trouble was i had just to many games set up that way, couldnt stop that,

so as wise as i am, i thought i have to balance that,
i set up classic, escalating, 8 guys, 6 guys...

i did lose some points, i didnt care, i knew im gonna hit the yackpot and win at least some games, as i do, look at my won history of classic
8 guys, you ll find i won many games, even the terminator games, i won the whole thing,
so your constructive critisism, i might be not a good player, is questionable,
i might not be the best player, but still i believe i understand the classic map good enough

just yesterday i was so close to win, i would have gained prob 25 points out of 7 guys, ( since my ranks are low now ) makes ist to almost 200

i would have been back to my stable 1750, and with some luck win one more and i could have stayed at least between 1600- whatever.

and before i went to play after trading and going after the guy with 5 spoils, i said to myself
lets see the dice, ( after watching them closely the last days thoroughly) and i was right, the same shit happened again,

i just know when the bad dice rhtym starts coming after many games,

and i relise also when my unreal dicecrap starts,

that much said, my dice will turn in those unreal thing again, maybe next week,

but i dont believe in this randomness blah blah, i do believe in computer, and software,
i am not calling cc a cheater, i just dont believe in this random thing u buy from another website etc...

like if u play backgammon against the computer ( good software!!) you know what he will do next move, either a double, or throw your stone out,

have a good day

AslanTheKing

anybody who wants to challenge me ( go get your easy points) for the sake of winning but - lets play 3 games classic, i am always ready
that should shut those up who think they know my playstyle( at least in classic i know what im doing) or luxembourg

You're going completely against yourself. My dice are good or bad, no matter what rank I am. You're seriously an idiot. I really don't see why you bother with this. You actually think that this site would still be up if it wasn't random? People pay money on the site. It HAS to be fair. You can't just make dice good for some and bad for others.. It's called skills, and you have none, obviously. Seriously, you need to stop bitching about the site, because I promise it is 100% fair. You're just making an excuse because you think you're so good, but you're really not, especially if you can't even keep above 1600 easily.

How do you think this works? Is there a bit of code that changes dice rolls according to how many points you have and how long you have been on the site? What would the purpose of this be?

Dear Mr Aslan The King,

I hope you are well and enjoying life. Things here have been quite hectic. I have been account sitting for a friend. He has slightly less points than me but is a better player. I noticed whilst taking his turns that he had some really good dice. Then later on some really shit ones.

I do hope that his helps to explain things a little.

Kindest regards

The thing about dice is, they have 6 numbers, some of them are smaller and some are biggerer. When you roll them sometimes the small numbers come up, and sometimes they go down.

That's all there is to say about dice.

As someone else mentioned major is easy (2000) using escalating cards alone and skill despite bad dice. I won my first tourney with horrible dice and getting picked on a little bit since i had the highest score and I dominated a second round putting me in 1st place. But now im about ready to quit the site "I am about to leave because the dice are on their rampage again and it pisses me off. Based on the dice analyzer add on out of 446 3v2 attacks Ive only won 31.66% when I should be at 37.17%. Ive only rolled 14.71% of 6's out of 1298 dice throws (which is way fricking low) and I mostly roll 4's 2's 1's 3's 5's in that order...with as much dice as Ive thrown since i last deleted my cookies I should not be off so severely. I know its random, but seriously they need to make it less random and more statistically accurate. Who wants to play a game when they lose 12% more often then normal after nearly 1300 rolls? Or loses 3v2 attacks 15% more than usual after nearly 500 attacks? Yes, frustrating, its why i left the site for a year 2 years ago and Im about ready to leave again for longer than that." So it only gets worse as u get higher up the ranks.

you think you're so good, but you're really not, especially if you can't even keep above 1600 easily.

i havent checked the scoreboard, if there are more over 1600, ore if the mayority is less then 1600,
go and check it out.

I think the only indicator if someone is good, average or really bad is the percentage of won games, i would say anybody below 10 percent won games up from 200 played games is really bad-
i could be wrong, those with 50 percent wins must be very good, i dont know how they do it,
its not only the playstyle, its that many other factors are countet in it.

Aslan, maybe what you're noticing is just the normal ebb and flow of the game. Sometimes I'm on fire, I just can't stop losing, I mean winning, and then I go through a cold spell where I go for questionable 3v2 clicks and term kill runs when the chances are only 30%. Home run hitters, gamblers, golf players - they all have hot and cold streaks.

i would be happy with 58 percent winrate, honestly, that is an indication of a good player, i would say though,
many other factors are countet in ( what i mean is, do you play 1vs1 or 1 vs 8, etc...)

I had a tremendous string of rolls earlier this morning, taking down a stack that was around 15-20 troops larger than mine.

But maybe I just proved your point, since I have a score somewhere in the 1400's right now. ;)
