Help needed - Changing country in profile

I'd like to change my country flag and country in my profile. Is it possible? I can't remember how it got set and I can't edit it in my profile settings. Am I being stupid or was it set automatically from my IP location (if such a thing is possible!).
I don't really want to go into the details of why I want to change it (as this isn't really the forum to discuss politics), but I'm sure other people must have the same problem.

I think it's just set automatically from your IP.

Your country is determined automatically by looking up your IP address in a GeoIP database. It isn't meant to reflect your nationality. Furthermore, the database is only 99% accurate so some members may show an incorrect location. Unfortunately there is no way to override your country flag.

Perhaps he's a
Sealander and does therefore not want to be called British?

I don't know what country flashleg wants on his profile, but I'm guessing Sealand isn't one of them...
If you're going to Cuba, flashleg, presumably you'll still be playing your games there (of course.) Maybe it'll set to Cuba if you use an internet cafe there!

Yeah! Actually I'll be in France (meet the family before I'm getting married
) in a couple of weeks so I'll test it there but Sealand would be cool as well though (as I'm currently on an oil rig in the North Sea - I feel a certain affinity with their cause!)

First of all, Hecter I don't like the avi change. you feel more like the French guy than Arthur.
