If you have hard facts in the
game log, that some one is cheating and or abusing another player in a game, then you need to start a thread in the cheating and abuse forum right away. This is the best thing that you can do. But be very certain of the facts that you present. It must be spelled out precisely in the
game log or the
game chat what the insult was or the cheating that was done.
If it is the first time that it happened and you only suspect some dirty deed, then you might just want to take a snap shot of the game for future reference and let it go at that with out creating the thread. That way if it happens again then you have two games in which the incident occurs and your words will have more weight. Especially with pictures.
The first time could always just be a misunderstanding and we also need to practice tolerance especially with new people who don't know better as yet. Even though the rules are clearly written it may come to pass that some one may say something that others find distasteful. We need to just politely let them know that we find that term or word offensive and ask them to "Please" not use that word or phrase. We need to practice a little diplomacy as well.
Rude, obnoxious and inconsiderate people (As well as cheaters) will sooner or later be shown the way out of here. In the end they do it to themselves and they always get caught. That is just one of the advantages of being on a moderator controlled web site.
