Is it Private Diplomacy?

I have a question that has some ramifications on a number of games. I don't want to mention any ones name just in case it is permissible.

I went to one of the players that played in a game we had just completed to see medals, comments on play etc.

In this game 2 of us had a public treaty as we were getting tagged pretty good and negotiated it in the public chat for all to see.

When I went to the players site, on his wall was a message from the other player in the game (there was 4 of us) to this player stating he wouldn't attack him as we had formed a treaty. The guy left it on his wall and either hadn't seen it or wasn't concerned with it. Due to the fact that this is a high ranking player, I won't mention his name.

LOL, it took all that to ask if it is oK to do that if you leave it on someones wall? Isn't that basically the same as PM?

I am fairly new, and understood that this was a BIG deal to do Private diplomacy...just need a clarification.

Thanks :?

No it is not OK. Here is the rule which can be found on the rules page. http://www.conquerclub.com/public.php?mode=rules

Rule #2: No secret diplomacy

Any form of diplomatic discussion between opponents must be posted in the game chat in English or in a language that all opponents understand. Diplomacy includes, but is not limited to: proposing truces, negotiating alliances, and coordinating assaults. Secret diplomacy can be hard to prove, but if you suspect it you should leave the players in question appropriate ratings. If you feel certain about players engaging in secret diplomacy consider reporting them in the Cheating & Abuse Reports forum by posting a new topic.

As detailed above its not allowed. Post it in the C and A section. With the player involved, game number and if possible a screen shot of the wall.

As I read the first post he is stating the following scenario:

Player A - him
Player B
Player C

Player A went to Player B's wall and found a wall comment from Player C talking about the game.

Wouldn't this be talking about the game outside of the game chat and thus a violation of the secret diplomacy rule as listed?
