So basically lack is a war profiteer, just like Rhett Butler
The bandits are sexy, controversial, and forward thinking, just like Scarlett O'Hara
The conquerors want to keep their points and titles at the expense of low-ranked players, just like the South wants money and small waists at the expense of slaves

Need more proof? Clapper is Belle Watling, Night Strike is India Wilkes, and THOTA is the horse that kills Bonnie Blue Butler.

It's eerie when you start thinking about it.

If you couldn't figure it out by reading the OP then you need to be interrogated by the House of Un-American Activities Committee :!:

Hmmm... the CC comparison didn't really strike a chord with me.
The GWTW makes me think of the former Krakatoa.

I C wat u did thar

Anyway, I never read Gone With The Wind so I wouldn't know who the characters were. I could have looked it up I guess but that would have taken up too much time. (srsly I wouldn't have stopped at just finding out what it was, I'd have to look at all the links too)

You know what trouble I's talkin' 'bout. I's talking 'bout Mr. Ashley Wilkes. He'll be comin' to Atlanta when he gets his leave, and you sittin' there waitin' for him, just like a spider. He belongs to Miss Melanie...

Rhett Butler walk away from Scarlett at the end with no hope of ever getting back together with that woman who had caused him so much emotional pain. Only in her mind was there hope but Rhett was never going back to her.

Are the bandits causing Lack emotional distress?

Lack:
"Frankly my dear; I don't give a damn!"

Bullet Proof Bandits:
"But tomorrow is another day!"

Oh and it wasn't the horse that killed Bonnie; It was the fall that done her in.
