Had some issues to take care of and haven't been around much...

Has forting allies in team games been turned off and I missed the announcement?

Nope. Not that I know of. Check to make sure that
A. It is a team game
B. He is your ally
C. You own all the armies in between

Remember that you can only fortify to their countries that are adjacent to yours and not through them

Okay... I see what I was doing.

Good grief, the chemo drugs still have me whacked out. At least I'm not having morphine halucinations any more.
