It seems to me that most people don't agree with some things on this site, one of these things being the Scoreboard.

I thought a poll would be more eloquent than any endless discussion so feel free to vote.

The scoreboard is used by farmers to show off there skill

Because they are farmers

Like it or not the scoreboard is of some use. The better players always rise to the top of it. End of story. Sure some players are overinflated, but that is just how all games go.

The scoreboard is not to blame. It ain't a perfect world but we can try to make it better in small increments.

for most people the scoreboard is not a problem. it is just a very vocal, very small group that has a problem with it

The scoreboard:
- DOES reflect skills - those skills that are required to add points to your score and just as importantly: those that know how to AVOID losing points
- is NOT a device to reflect THE BEST player at the top

It amazes me that some people are too obtuse (look it up) to see the difference there or between:
- their opinion/wants/desires and rules
- Farmers (illegal abuse unranked ?new recruits) and Ranchers (legal systematic risk avoidance)
- someone mentioning another's personal name -- and using CC site do dig up personal info (death notices/photos . . . like Chariot, eddie2, TheGeneral2112, QoH, IR1SH ACE, etc. did in CCCW)

This is why you never put your name, pictures, or any other kind of personal information on a website filled with people you don't know. When you put it out there, it is fair game for anyone else to use. I thought someone as old as you are would understand that...
