Well i got so bored of the back and forth of this map, I tried a new strategy.

Mutual assured destruction. Do you think it will last?

That's not a new strategy specifically for checkers, I've seen it on many other maps before.
In fact it was one of dugcarr's main strategies. Simply threaten to attack an opponent all out if they don't listen to his commands (whether it involves leaving his continents alone, evacuating a continent for him, breaking someone elses continent etc).
It's a very effective strategy and its one of the reasons that his bullying was so effective in standard games.
Here's an example I dug up from a game I had months ago with dug-
2006-08-18 22:29:53 - dugcarr1: blue for evry man over 2 that u have in africa next round i will times it by 3 and attack u in astrialia,,,or i ment plase leave africa
I was blue and I listened to his command because I thought it was mutually beneficial. So anyway, it is indeed an effective strategy, but not one that most people will enjoy playing with.

he really did that

well personally i dont take kindly to that sort of encouragement. i would definately go all out attack on anyone that tried to threaten me like that just to spite them

Exactly. The point of diplomacy is to play on their fears with skill, not to figuratively bludgeon them with a threat.

If someone did that I would say: Bring it on and full-scale attack him Especially if he's a general.

Very risky strategy, it might lead to every other player attacking you, simply because of their fear that they might be the next to be bullied.

yeah very much if they were a general! they have a lot more to lose than a low ranked guy like me

The point of diplomacy is to use your words to get your enemy to do what you want.
