Why are the maps so small. Even with the large maps they r still very difficult to see. So much room is wasted with the very large game log section and the huge chat area. Also the left side of the screen being so large is a huge waste of space. Please consider reducing these areas and let the maps be large! A game should not be decided because the map is to small to read.

Umm... you can change that. It's in my settings.

I think he's complaining that even the large maps are too small.

The maps are already large enough. Not everyone plays on 1900x1600 screens with their web browser maximized. I'm on 1600 x 1024 and typically have Iceweasel at about half to 2/3 width so my GAIM buddy list can fit on screen next to it.

It is true that not everyone uses 1900x1600 but it is also true that not everyone plays at 1280x1024. Giving a larger map option will not hurt players with smaller screen resolutions; they can continue using the two existing options. Thinking about it this game must be a horror for those using 2560x1920.

the only problem is: the most map makers are gone, and the map makers need to make a larger map and the xml again...

Probably just need a couple of "more country" style maps similar to World 2.1 to accommodate larger Triples games or 6 person games. My only beef with some of the maps on here, although virtually every single one is great for four people doubles or singles games, when there are six players involved they tend to get a bit congested and you lose some players very early on. (1st or 2nd round) through really no fault of their own, just a c**p deal out leaving them with no chance of any recovery.
